Outpatient Addictions Coordinator
The Outpatient Addictions Coordinator will manage the day-to-day operations of the YSS Outpatient Addictions Program at the State Training School (STS) in Eldora. The Outpatient Addictions Coordinator will provide clinical and/or administrative supervision to Outpatient Addictions Counselors at the STS. This Outpatient Addictions Coordinator will work closely with the staff and administration at STS to ensure the IOP services provided meet the contract requirements. The Outpatient Addictions Coordinator is responsible for admitting STS clients to substance use programming. In addition, this position is to develop assessments, individual treatment plans, weekly progress reports and to provide individual and intensive group counseling to meet the goals of strengthening the youth/young adults' ability to maintain abstinence of all substances while a resident of the STS and explore healthier functioning during their State Training School and when they return to their home community.
A Bachelor's degree in human services or related field is required. Must have 3 years of supervisory experience. Must be a certified addictions counselor (CADC) with the Iowa Board of Certification. Must have 5 years of experience in the field of addictions.
